Each year on the 28^th of April, Canadians gather together where we can or stand alone in solitude on the National Day of Mourning to honour the memory of workers who have been killed, injured, or suffered illness as a result of their work.

This year, the BC Federation of Labour, along with the Workers' Compensation Board, the Business Council of BC and the Vancouver and District Labour Council will co-host a Day of Mourning ceremony at Jack Poole Plaza in Vancouver.
