Please read the correspondence below regarding the unfair labour practices being undertaken by the United Brotherhood of Carpenters (UBC). All Local Unions of the IBEW have been instructed by First District International Vice President Russ Shewchuk to ensure its members are aware of Canada’s Building Trades Unions declaration against the UBC. Local 258 has been advised that no IBEW member in Canada may work on ANY UBC Wall to Wall ICI project. Local 258 has been instructed to charge individuals when they become aware of members supporting UBC projects.
