It is that time of year again, where post-secondary students and students-to-be must begin planning for the next school year. The IBEW recognizes the importance of continuing one’s education and building important skills and would like to help its members and their families achieve their educational goals. Therefore, in conjunction with MWG Apparel, AIL, and TD Insurance Meloche Monnex, the IBEW is pleased to announce that it will once again be offering scholarships to IBEW members and their families. There are 10 scholarships to be claimed, each in the amount of $2000.00, to be applied towards the cost of tuition for the applicant’s chosen program.

To be eligible, candidates must be currently enrolled in full or part-time studies or have been accepted to a post-secondary institution. Applicants must write an original short essay describing the benefits of belonging to the IBEW, to be submitted with the application form. A random draw will be held on February 16^th, 2024, after which the 10 winners will be announced.

Applications and essays must be received by 5:00pm EST on February 9^th, 2024.
