Friday, May 2, Langley, BC – Local 258 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers is pleased to announce that the employees of Eaton Industries Canada have voted to ratify a new collective agreement. The agreement is backdated to April 1, 2025, and will be in effect for a duration of three years.
Highlights of the newly ratified agreement are as follows:
- Increases to pension contributions - $3.03 effective immediately, and $3.05 effective in 2027;
- General wage increases as follows:
- 2.5% in the first year;
- 2.0% in the second year;
- 3.0% in the third year;
- Larger increases to starting wages;
- Increases to long-term disability.
Members are encouraged to read the Memorandum of Agreement in its entirety for a comprehensive list and description of all changes to the collective agreement.
