In Loving Memory of Mike Perry
Updated On: Oct 10, 2025

"Our brother, Mike Perry, has tragically and unexpectedly passed away on October 5th, leaving behind his loving wife Hannah and their five beautiful children, aged between 3 and 13. Mike had been battling complications from Pericarditis, spending time in and out of the hospital between September 28th and October 4th. When he was discharged from the hospital, doctors were optimistic that his condition had been caught early enough for a safe recovery. Tragically, on the evening of October 4th, Mike went to sleep and never woke up. Mike made an enormous impact on the BCH community and the IBEW family. He truly lived and breathed line work. Those who knew Mike will tell you he was one of the most dedicated, determined, and genuine linemen out there. He always set the bar high—his integrity, leadership, and passion for the trade helped shape those around him forever. What made Mike truly special was his kindness and humility. Whether it was a pre-apprentice learning the ropes or a seasoned journeyman eager to sharpen their skills, Mike always had time to listen, teach, and encourage. He inspired everyone around him to be better—at work and in life. Mike’s sudden passing has left his family and friends in deep shock and grief. The Perry family had only recently moved into what was meant to be their forever home in Kelowna, and now they face an unimaginable road ahead. Let’s come together as a community—as brothers, sisters, and friends—to show respect for a fallen brother and support the Perry family in this time of heartbreak. Every contribution, no matter the amount, will help ease the burden and show Hannah and the kids just how much Mike meant to all of us. Thank you for your love, support, and generosity."

Rest in peace Mike.
