After years of negotiating more than 20 traffic control contracts, a master agreement now covers 17 employers and about half of Local 258's 600-member traffic sector. Nearly all traffic control workers represented by Local 258 now enjoy equal pay and benefits.

Employees of Eaton Industries Ratify New Collective Agreement

Friday, May 2, Langley, BC – Local 258 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers is pleased to announce that the employees of Eaton Industries Canada have voted to ratify a new collective agreement. The agreement is backdated to April 1, 2025, and will be in effect for a duration of three years.

Updates Made to Tentative Master Line Agreement

Langley, April 29, 2025 – Local 258 IBEW’s Master Line Bargaining Committee is pleased to announce that a second tentative agreement, covering a three-year term, has been reached with the signatory employers of the Master Line Agreement. This updated version of the proposed agreement was reached after bargaining resumed following the rejection of the first iteration.
