Local 258 IBEW Responds to Cam Tran Plant Closure, Calls for Action to Protect B.C. Jobs and Electrical Supply Chain

Langley, B.C. – July 15, 2026 – Local 258 IBEW is deeply disappointed by the announcement that Cam Tran's manufacturing facility in Chilliwack will cease operations, resulting in the loss of 43 skilled manufacturing jobs.
