Local 258 Sponsors Line Contractor Team to Compete at the 2024 International Lineman Rodeo 

We are excited to announce that our Union will be sponsoring one line contractor team and one apprentice to attend the 2024 International Lineman Rodeo, taking place this October in Kansas. This prestigious event is an excellent opportunity for our members to showcase their skills, network with other professionals, and represent our Union on an international stage.

Eligibility Requirements:

Team Participation:

1. Teams must sign up as a complete unit. (Teams consist of three linemen)
2. Participants must be employed by a signatory line contractor.
3. Each team member must have a valid passport.
4. Each team member must be able to enter the United States.
5. Teams can consist of members employed by different signatory line contractors.

Apprentice Participation:

1. Apprentices will compete as an individual and must nominate themselves. 
2. Apprentices must have completed level 2 school.
3. Apprentices must be a current apprentice at the time of the rodeo.

Please note that this is a time-sensitive matter. We must receive all nominations no later than the end of business day, July 10, 2024. Selections will be made by a random draw.
