The next Stat Holiday is: Christmas Day, Friday, December 25, 2020, followed by your Union-negotiated Stat Holiday, Boxing Day, on Saturday, December 26, 2020.
It’s looking like this year will see different Christmas celebrations taking place as we all follow the public health orders and limit our contacts. As you make your plans for the holiday season, please remember that these restrictions are not forever and we all have to do our part to reduce the rapid acceleration of the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
Thank you for reading this email and remember Dr. Bonnie Henry’s wise advice to “Be kind, be calm, and be safe”, at work and at home.
In solidarity
Doug McKay
