Local 258 IBEW is part of one of the largest and strongest Trade Unions in North America, the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, representing 750,000 workers across Canada and the United States. We provide high quality Union representation to our membership and work in all spheres to improve the lives of our members and their families.

What We Do

Local 258 IBEW employs a full complement of professional staff that proudly serves our membership who work in British Columbia and the Yukon Territory. Our elected Executive Board reflects more than 100 years of experience and success.

Who We Represent

Local 258 IBEW represents more than 4,000 highly skilled trades & professional workers in British Columbia’s and the Yukon Territory’s publicly-owned electric utility and associated private companies, including power line contracting, electrical manufacturing, utility arborist/tree trimming and traffic control.
