With a heavy heart I have to announce that at 11:55pm last night (April 18th) we lost Dad. 
We spent the whole day with him chatting and laughing and telling stories. We held his hand until the very end. I am so thankful my mom and I were able to spend every last minute with him as he fought very hard against his sudden illnesses. 
Thank you to everyone at Chilliwack hospital who directly cared for him and got a few chuckles in with him.
Thank you to all of you for the love and support. 
Please remember my dad as the sarcastic jokester he was. Our hearts are heavy because they are full of love. I truly don’t think it’s possible to love as hard has he did. This won’t be easy but dad would have wanted us to be strong so we will.  
The world has lost one of the best dudes you’ll ever meet. Have a rum and Diet Coke for my dad tonight and make sure to tell your loved ones that you love them every damn day.
