Thank you to all the members who took the time to participate in last evening’s conference call about BC Hydro’s vaccination mandate policy. Unfortunately we could not take all your calls last night. We have attached the full audio recording below.
Labour lawyer Murphy Fries from Koskie Glavin Gordon law firm provided responses to the most commonly asked questions we received to date about the vaccination mandate at BC Hydro. She also spoke about precedent arbitration processes and results that could influence challenges to this new employer policy. The call was then opened up to participants for questions for the remainder of the call.
As indicated during the call, I stressed this the purpose here is to bring as much information as possible to the membership regarding the vaccination mandate in relation to health and safety in your workplaces.
My Assistant Business Managers and I continue to receive any questions you may have, endeavour to provide responses and to represent you and all our membership to the best of our ability.
