Local 258 IBEW members working for outside line contractors under the Master Line Agreement are urgently advised to register their personal email address with the Union Hall as soon as possible so they can receive important information about a proposed contract, including electronic voting procedures, anticipated to be delivered early next week, advises Sr. ABM Joey Sutherland.

“Local 258 will be conducting an electronic vote on the terms being offered for a proposed contract which includes this employer group’s final offer,” says Brother Sutherland, who heads the Union’s Bargaining Committee. “We look forward to getting all the specifics to the members for this important vote.”

Both sides have met a few times since bargaining got underway in November. The contract expired on January 31, 2022. Members of the Bargaining Committee are: Joey Sutherland, Senior Assistant Business Manager; Ken Mitchell, Assistant Business Manager; Pat Hagel from Arctic Arrow; Paul Davis from Allteck; Jonathan Gares from Rokstad; Josh Nelson from PEI; Shawn Cronk from Central Island; and Garnet Zimmerman of GZ Mediation.
