Brother Tony Brand, Local 258 IBEW Election Judge, has advised that IBEW First District International Representative Adam Van Steinburg has now completed a comprehensive investigation in response to an election protest that was filed. Brother Van Steinburg provided the investigation report to Brother Russ Shewchuk, IBEW First District International Vice President, who has reviewed the report. Brother Shewchuk has now indicated he considers this matter to have been duly investigated and that the issue raised in the protest did not prejudice the results of the election counted on June 1st, or the run-off election counted on June 29th.  IVP Shewchuk has ordered that the certification of the election results in Local 258 shall stand.
